On Saturday, former President Donald Trump said he "will not protect" Prince Harry like Joe Biden has if he gets elected in November.
In an interview with the Daily Express at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), Trump said, "I wouldn’t protect him. He betrayed the Queen. That’s unforgivable. He would be on his own if it was down to me.”
He noted that he was angry at the Biden administration for keeping Prince Harry's immigration application confidential and that the Royal Family "have been too gracious to him after what he has done.”
According to the New York Post, the Heritage Foundation is currently attempting to argue in court that Prince Harry should not have been allowed to enter the US after admitting to using illegal drugs in his memoir.
In the book "Spare" Harry said that he used cocaine, marijuana, and psychedelic mushrooms when he was younger. He said cocaine, "didn’t do anything for me,” but "Marijuana is different, that actually really did help me.”
"Saying something in a book doesn't necessarily make it true," lawyers argued.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stepped away from being "senior" members of the Royal Family in 2020, to be "financially independent."
"After many months of reflection and internal discussions, we have chosen to make a transition this year is starting to carve out a progressive new role within this institution,” they wrote on Instagram at the time. “We intend to step back as ‘senior’ members of the Royal Family and work to become financially independent while continuing to fully support Her Majesty The Queen. It is with your encouragement, particularly over the last few years, that we feel prepared to make this adjustment.”
The couple stepped away from the Royal Family and was later mercilessly mocked by the TV show South Park. The show accurately portrayed the couple as going around to high-profile media gigs and interviews about their lives while claiming they wanted their "privacy." The couple reportedly looked into legal options after the episode aired.
