The principal of Raisbeck Aviation High School in Tukwila, Washington, put a preemptive end to protests being organized by student activists at the school. The students were attempting to disrupt classes by organizing a walkout in protest of the SCOTUS draft leak decision that would overturn Roe v. Wade.
Therese Tipton, the principal at the prestigious STEM high school, sent a school-wide email on Monday which stated that participation in Roe v. Wade walkouts during class hours would result in an "unexcused absence," Safe Seattle reports.

The student group "RAHS4ROE", which is unrecognized by the school, is hosting the walkout on Friday May 13, at 12:40 pm, despite the principal's announcement.
Despite the principal's request not to participate, RAHS4ROE encouraged students to have their parents call the school to request an "excused absence." If granted, the school would have to allow the students to makeup what they missed in class.
The protest is scheduled to happen during advanced placement (AP) exams.
The classmates that are unable to walkout due to exams – or their parents won't allow them to – are being encouraged to wear pink and green in solidarity.
