“I am demanding that President Biden do not show his face at Ground Zero on 9/11. It is now holy ground and I really don’t think he has a place there.”
A family member of a 9/11 victim asserted that President Joe Biden shouldn't appear at this year's memorial for the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, because of how he handled the situation at Kabul airport last month.
Nic Haros Jr. demanded on "Fox & Friends" on Monday that Biden not show up to the memorials for the 20th anniversary of 9/11. He spoke as a personal victim to the tragedy, losing his mother in the World Trade Center attacks in New York City almost two decades ago. The stated reasoning according to Haros Jr. is that Biden's botched Afghanistan withdrawal was an American disgrace.
"It's shameful for [Biden], I think, to use the dead bodies as a political prop for his so-called victory lap. He is insensitive and he shows no compassion to the families. No Joe, no victory, we are now in the Afghanistan War 2.0. Those resurrected victims kept America safe from harm all those years. Biden must not dishonor their grace and patriotism. He has none," Haros Jr. declared.
The fact that Biden was seen checking his watch in the middle of the Dover Air Force Base reception ceremony last Sunday was mentioned, which was an observation from the Gold Star families in attendance of the transfer who stood up to the so-called fact check attempt by USA Today.
Haros Jr. continues: "Today I call out Biden as the killer-in-chief. It's not just 13 killed or the thousands of Americans and Afghanistan supporters left to die. I believe he is complicit in a coming genocide of Americans and Afghans."
Last week, Fox News host Tucker Carlson interviewed another 9/11 family member who lost his father. Brett Eagleson, whose father Bruce also died at the World Trade Center, stressed the importance of "closure" in the group's push at urging the Biden administration to declassify intelligence documents about what the US government knew in the lead-up to the Twin Tower attacks.
Days later, Biden signed an executive order ordering the FBI to review and declassify documents related to the 9/11 attacks. It was around this time that the Taliban released a video statement blaming America for the destruction of the Twin Towers, citing the US's "policy of aggression against the Muslim world."
