During an interview with Fox News' Neil Cavuto on Sunday, Nikki Haley donor Andy Sabin revealed that her campaign has been drawing in monetary support from Democrats.

He explained that the campaign had raised a "tremendous" amount of money in the lead up to a fundraiser for the Republican presidential candidate co-hosted by a Democrat in New York City.

"So, the money train is still flowing and going," Cavuto began. "Are you worried though?"

"We actually have a large fundraiser on the 30th of January at a major apartment in New York City," Sabin replied, noting that the campaign was "raising a tremendous amount of money."

"Believe it or not," he added, "a number of it [is] coming from Democrats."

When Cavuto pressed Sabin on whose apartment the fundraiser would be held at, the Haley donor refused to answer, but noted that "one of the biggest Democrats whose one of my best friends, who you wouldn't believe, who's never voted for a Republican, is a co-host of this fundraiser."

As the Iowa caucuses kick off, polls have shown Haley voters in the state are the most likely to cast their ballots for Joe Biden and the Democrats if she is not the nominee.

As NBC News reported, a survey of likely Iowa GOP caucus goers conducted by NBC, the Des Moines Register, and Mediacom between January 7 and 12 found that while just 11 percent of respondents overall said they'd vote for Biden if Donald Trump is the nominee, 43 percent of Haley supporters said they would do so, with only 23 percent vowing to support the Republican Party no matter who was chosen.
