Former President Donald Trump, during his Wednesday town hall on Fox commented on Chris Christie dropping out the Republican primary for the 2024 election, saying, that Christie was "right" that Nikki Haley would not last in the primary.

Trump said, further, "The biggest story wasn't the fact that he dropped out, nobody cared too much about that."

"He had a hot mic where he was talking to somebody about the weather and he happened to say that she doesn’t have what it takes," he added. "I happen to believe that Chris Christie is right. That's one of the few things he's been right about."

Earlier on Wednesday it was reported that Christie would be dropping out of the Republican primary. Christie was caught live on a hot mic and said that Haley is going to "get smoked" in the race. As part of that conversation, Christie said DeSantis was worried about the Iowa caucus.

The town hall aired at the same time as a CNN debate with only Haley and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis participating. Vivek Ramaswamy, who didn't qualify for the debate, held a live event with Tim Pool on YouTube.
