DEFUND: CBC ‘race war’ segment is yet another reason we shouldn’t be forced to pay for such horrendous content

"The CBC invited an author who wrote about 'detonating' white people, while "the exits are locked and the air vents [are] filled with gas" to be interviewed on their flagship arts program."

You can listen to the audio below:

"AUDIO: Author Ben Philippe talks to CBC about his book, where he writes about trapping white people in a room, where they would then be blown up and gassed."

CBC almost spoke the truth

What makes this so brutal is how close the interviewer came to speaking the truth.

The host says the following: "I mean that's... I'm a Jewish person, and my grandparents survived the holocaust.”

Reading that, you’re probably thinking she’s about to say this:

"I can’t tell you how it felt to read that sentiment, and I wanted to say how disturbed I am that you’re talking about Nazi-style methods of killing innocent people based on their background."

But no, that’s not what she said. Instead, she said this:

"I mean that's... I'm a Jewish person, and my grandparents survived the holocaust. I can't tell you how it felt to read that sentiment, and I wanted to say to you that I'm so sorry that your experience of the world made you feel that way."

So close, yet so far.

CBC was so close to the truth, but of course decided to triple down on "wokeness," which now apparently means being fine with talking about gassing white people.

Of course, we all know that if a white person said this and the races in the discussion had been reversed, every political figure in the country would be denouncing this as a "hate crime," Justin Trudeau would have already cried about it and spent millions on "fighting hate."

And of course, CBC would never have had any white person saying similar things on their program to begin with. We must be honest here, and avoid political correctness.

If we are supposed to be a country where everyone is treated equally, and where the rules and law apply to everyone regardless of colour or background, then there cannot be a double-standard for this kind of thing.

If it’s unacceptable for a white person to talk about gassing black people, then it’s also unacceptable for a black person to talk about gassing white people.

It’s not the race of the person with the idea that should matter, it’s the idea itself that’s horribly disturbing, the idea of executing innocent people based on their race.

Defund CBC

With CBC attempting to normalize and provide a platform for discussion of executing innocent white people based on their race, it’s yet another reason the network should be defunded.

Canadians of all backgrounds would be appalled by what our tax dollars are funding.

Now, if CBC can survive on voluntary contributions – funding from people who are freely choosing to support them – then CBC deserves the right to exist.

But they have no right to exist without competing, without actually having to persuade people to support them voluntarily.

By surviving on forced involuntary contributions from our tax dollars, CBC is so far removed from accountability that they can do things like have someone talk about a book which discusses executing white People and have their host pathetically apologize to the person for their "experience of the world" making them "feel that way."

No common-sense, no accepting of personal responsibility, just the same "blame everyone except the individual" attitude that is dragging down our society.

We shouldn’t be forced to pay for this, and CBC should be defunded and forced to prove they can survive a real competition.
