"Hunter Biden is actually a weakness for the former vice president," King said, "because of his work—I'll call it out. He was a swamp creature, like many people, trading on his family name to make money around the world."
He said this in response to a moment during the first presidential debate on September 29, when President Trump said "Hunter got thrown out of the military, he was thrown out dishonorably discharged, for cocaine use."
Former Vice President Biden defended his son, saying that his son had worked hard on his addiction and has "fixed it."
This exchange happened before any of the latest revelations emerged alleging that Hunter Biden, Jim Biden, and Joe Biden were involved in using the Biden name to generate income in exchange for access to VP Biden by Hunter's international business associates.
