A recently resurfaced image depicting an elementary-aged girl sticking money into a burlesque dancer's panties has sparked outrage.

'Burlesque' is a performance typically featuring scantily-clad women and strip teases.

The burlesque dancer, who goes by the name Bella Blue, was performing at a brunch in New Orleans where she claims the child’s family "was encouraging her to tip and engage with me [Blue]." The nearly-naked Bella Blue took to the now-deleted Bella Blue Entertainment Facebook page to gush over the creepy encounter.

Bella wrote, "It’s always so refreshing to see families actively destigmatizing and changing narratives around bodies and sexuality." Blue claimed she even thanked the young girl’s mother saying, "Thank YOU for exposing her to burlesque and encouraging her to experience it."

Blue, who self-identifies as queer, has put on a variety of strip tease and burlesque shows around the New Orleans area, including the Dirty Dime Peepshow and Legs and Eggs Burlesque Brunch.

The incident was reported over three years ago by The Blaze, but has been making new rounds on social media this week and drawing serious backlash.

Babylon Bee CEO Seth Dillon, posted the image with the child’s face covered saying, "A small child — perhaps 5 or 6 — stuffs money into the underwear of a nearly naked drag queen as parents look on, smiling."

Illinois high school teacher Frank McCormick posted the image saying, "No one wants fascism, but I'm telling you, this is how you get it." College professor Wilfred Reilly responded to McCormick’s post saying, "With or without the take, this picture may well become globally famous as a commentary on the West."

Referencing Bella Blue's deleted Facebook post, Twitter user Philip Fry said "The full context makes this image even more insane." The Post Millennial has not included these posts to protect the child's identity.

The photo resurfaced a day after Mr. Misster’s, a gay bar in Dallas, hosted a 'Drag Your Kids to Pride' drag show for children. The event, which took place on June 4th, featured children handing money to provocatively-dressed drag queens performing in front of a neon sign that read, "IT’S NOT GONNA LICK ITSELF!"

The Post Millennial’s Andy Ngo revealed one of the drag queens who performed for children is Albert Xavier Estrada, who frequently posts nude photos on Twitter and sells explicit content on OnlyFans.

Estrada responded to Ngo’s revelation of the drag queen’s identity calling Ngo "a disgusting piece of sh*t."

Protect Texas Kids (PTK), a nonprofit whose mission is to combat "the toxic, indoctrinating agenda of the left," helped organize protesters outside the event.

PTK executive director Kelly Neidert told The Post Millennial she had been looking for Drag Queen Story Hour events to protest when she stumbled across Mr. Misster’s event. Neidert said she found Google reviews for Mr. Misster’s that "openly talked about drug use…drug use out on the dance floor. It sounded like the perfect place and event to protest."

Around 80 to 90 people showed up to protest and police were called after ANTIFA counter protesters showed up and assaulted demonstrators, Neidert said. She said she hopes her efforts will translate to more people getting involved by showing up and pushing back.

"The majority of these people that are seeing this online and being outraged, they're not going to show up in protest," she said. "Someone needs to be doing it and exposing it so that people can see, like, this is actually going on."

Aldo Buttazzoni, an independent journalist who broke the story from inside the drag show, told The Post Millennial the motive of the performance was very clear.

"What I witnessed was nothing short of grooming," Buttazzoni said. He said he spoke to drag performers who told him they hope drag becomes normalized amongst children.

Texas-based journalist known for covering riots, Tayler Hansen, accompanied Buttazzoni to cover the event. He told The Post Millennial it was "more disturbing than any riot I’ve covered."

Hansen recounts one parent forcing sexuality on her young son, telling a bartender at the event that her son is gay, despite the child verbally denying it. Hansen said many children at the event seemed disinterested, playing with rubix cubes and handheld video games instead of watching the performances.

Children at drag shows has been on the rise. Just last month, Paramount+ sponsored a drag event where children were dancing on stage for money.

One Texas lawmaker proposed a bill to ban minors from drag shows. The Texas State Representative, Bryan Slaton, confirmed his bill was motivated by the incident in Dallas.

"The events of this past weekend were horrifying and show a disturbing trend in which perverted adults are obsessed with sexualizing young children."
