Attorney General Pam Bondi, when she was asked if she would be releasing "the list of Jeffrey Epstein's clients," said that the documents are "sitting on [her] desk right now." She also said she would be reviewing the files on the assassination of John F. Kennedy as well as Martin Luther King Jr.

While appearing on Fox News, she was asked by host John Roberts, "The DOJ may be releasing the list of Jeffrey Epstein's clients? Will that really happen?"

"It's sitting on my desk right now to review," Bondi responded, adding, "That's been a directive by President Trump. I’m reviewing that, I’m reviewing JFK files, MLK files. That’s all in the process of being reviewed, because that was done at the directive of the president from all of these agencies," she continued.

When she was asked if she had seen anything that had taken her by surprise, she responded, "not yet." She made a similar comment on the list of Epstein's clients while attending CPAC on Thursday evening while talking to Benny Johnson.

"I was briefed on that yesterday," she said, after being asked by Johnson about the release of the files. "I can't talk about that publicly. President Trump has given a very strong directive and that is going to be followed."

Epstein, a 66-year-old millionaire who died in his jail cell in 2019, was in jail on charges of sex trafficking. In 2024, Bondi previously advocated for the government to release all of Epstein's clients, and said at the time that the list "should have come out a long time ago."

Trump has signed an executive order to declassify files related to the assassination of John F Kennedy as well as Martin Luther King Jr. As he signed the order earlier in February, he declared "Everything will be revealed."

Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) has also been tasked by Republican leadership to declassify files related to the assassinations, the Epstein client list, 9/11, and many other classified documents.
