2024 presumptive GOP nominee Donald Trump said that he would declassify documents surrounding Jeffrey Epstein, 9/11, and the President John F Kennedy assassination over the weekend. He made the commitment while sitting down with Fox & Friends Weekend for an interview,

"Would you declassify the 9/11 files," co-host Rachel Campos-Duffy asked, to which Trump responded "yeah."

"Would you declassify the JFK files," she asked.

"Yeah, I did a lot of it," Trump responded.

"Would you declassify the Epstein files," she asked, with Trump responding, "yeah, I would."

Trump in a July Truth Social Post vowed to release the remainder of the JFK files still classified: "When I return to the White House, I will declassify and unseal all JFK assassination-related documents," Trump wrote. "It's been 60 years, time for the American people to know the TRUTH!"

Some Epstein documents were released at the beginning of the year in relation to the Virginia Giuffre v Ghislaine Maxwell lawsuit, revealing connections to former President Bill Clinton, magician David Copperfield, and Stephen Hawking, among others. Witness testimony from the documents also confirmed that Trump never visited Epstein's island, nor did he have contact with underage girls.

During the same interview, Trump said that he would be "okay with" being sentenced to jail in the NYC falsified business records case. Trump was found guilty on all 34 counts on Thursday and is set to be sentenced on July 11, just days before the Republican National Convention.
