A second "black book" reportedly owned by Jeffrey Epstein, containing the names and addresses of 221 others is up for auction.
A second "black book" reportedly owned by Jeffrey Epstein, containing the names and addresses of 221 unnamed individuals associated with him, is set to be auctioned off privately, with bidders' identities remaining undisclosed.
The auction for the black book is scheduled to take place on May 15, with the price potentially reaching up to $200,000.
Bill Panagopulos, owner of Alexander Historical Auctions where the book will be sold, remarked on the rarity of the item.
“There are no comparables for the sale of this kind of relic. But, based on my experience, if I’m pressed to offer a price, I would think it would be $100,000 to $200,000, and up,” he told the Daily Beast.
A 2021 Business Insider article claimed that the "black book" contains 221 new names not listed in his other address book which was already published.
The black book was purportedly found on a New York City street by a female musician in the 1990s. After discovering significant names within its pages, she decided to keep it. However, upon realizing its connection to Epstein, she put it up for auction on eBay in 2020. The book was eventually purchased by Chir Helali for $450, who later agreed to auction it off with the persuasion of Billy Leroy, a New York historic collectibles enthusiast.
Leroy, who described feeling an "evil energy" emanating from the book, convinced Helali to consign it for auction.
“When I held it in my hands, I really felt the evil energy,” Leroy told the outlet. “It sounds crazy, but it’s got some heavy mojo.”
The black book reportedly contains 349 names, with 221 individuals not previously named in the more recent black book that gained attention. The book features many prominent names including former President Donald Trump, former CNN host Chris Cuomo’s wife Critstina Greeven. Ex-Playboy CEO Christie Hefner, Presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr., and more.
Reporters reached out to a number of individuals whose names are listed in Epstein’s black book. Billionaire businessman John Catsimatidis was one individual who responded to questions about his naming being present.
Catsimatidis said he was “not concerned” about his name being in a book among a potential business associate. He also clarified that he had only met Epstein once.
The news of the auction comes only a few months after numerous celebrities and influential figures were revealed to be connected to Epstein after previously sealed court documents were made public.
