"He said one time that Clinton likes them young, referring to girls."
Names that were previously kept anonymous on court documents related to people associated with the notorious financier were released on Wednesday by the Southern District Court of New York. The former president was among those mentioned, sometimes referred to as “John Doe 36.”
The documents that were part of the lawsuit filed by Epstein accuser Virginia Giuffre against the notorious predator’s girlfriend and accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell contained the deposition of Epstein accuser Johanna Sjoberg, who when questioned by Giuffre’s lawyer Sigrid McCawley, Sjoberg alleged Epstein had said the former president likes younger girls, according to Fox News.
Sjoberg said, "I knew he had dealings with Bill Clinton. I did not know they were friend until I read the Vanity Fair article about them going to Africa together."
McCawley asked, "Did Jeffrey ever talk to you about Bill Clinton?"
"He said one time that Clinton likes them young, referring to girls," Sjoberg answered.
Despite another document where Giuffre justified deposing further witnesses, including Clinton, because of his "close personal relationship" with Epstein, Clinton spokesperson Angel Urena, when reached for comment on Wednesday, referred the media to a 2019 statement claiming Clinton and Epstein didn’t have a close personal relationship and that the former president last had contact with Epstein 20 years ago.
According to the 2019 statement, "President Clinton knows nothing about the terrible crimes Jeffrey Epstein pleaded guilty to in Florida some years ago, or those with which he has been recently charged in New York. In 2002 and 2003, President Clinton took a total of four trips on Jeffrey Epstein's airplane: one to Europe, one to Asia, and two to Africa, which included stops in connection with the work of the Clinton Foundation."
"Staff, supporters of the Foundation, and his Secret Service detail traveled on every leg of every trip. He had one meeting with Epstein in his Harlem office in 2002, and around the same time made one brief visit to Epstein's New York apartment with a staff member and his security detail. He's not spoken to Epstein in well over a decade, and has never been to Little St. James Island, Epstein's ranch in New Mexico, or his residence in Florida."
