Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau was roasted Thursday after opening up his mentions to questions from Twitter users.

"As we approach the end of the year," Trudeau began, "I've been doing a lot of interviews with a lot of TV stations, newspapers, radio stations, and they've had a lot of great questions, but I know you do, too, so let's hear them."

Users were quick to heed the prime minister's call, with questions flooding in almost immediately. Many slammed the Liberal Party leader over his controversial policies, while others went after his many scandals.

Leading the charge was lawyer and podcaster Viva Frei.

"Is this AMA - like your invocation of the Emergencies Act - merely an act of further antagonism/provocation... in an attempt to get people angry and lash out at your regime?" he asked.

He also grilled Trudeau on whether it was "morally unacceptable to be giving billions of dollars to Ukraine while not having enough money to properly care for sick Canadians, who then, out of despair, turn to government assisted death, as opposed to life?"

Persian dissident Salman Sima pressed Trudeau on whether he thought the IRGC should be labeled a terrorist group, a question the Liberal government has struggled to provide a clear answer to.

"Do you think Russia or Iran take you seriously when you criticize them for being tyrannical regimes?" Frei added, citing Trudeau's violent suppression of the "most peaceful protest Canada - if not the world - had ever seen."

"How many times have you worn blackface?" Canadian political commentator Angelo Isidorou asked, referencing one of the prime minister's many scandals.

Another user demanded answers regarding Trudeau's net worth, questioning how it had grown so quickly over the course of the pandemic.

Whether Trudeau actually addresses any of the hundreds of questions he received remains to be seen, but many users expressed doubt, given his track record.
