Two violent Portland Antifa riot suspects have been re-arrested on new felony charges after Multnomah County District Attorney Mike Schmidt dropped 10 felony charges against them in November 2020.
Nicole Noreiga, 41, and Chester Hester, 27, were charged with six felonies on March 18 stemming from a violent Antifa riot that occurred in Portland on Nov. 26, 2020.
Both Noreiga and Hester were arrested and booked into Multnomah County Jail and have been charged with six felony counts of criminal mischief in the first degree, according to court documents.
The two defendants have since been released on their own recognizance, arrest documents show.
Noreiga and Hester are accused of being involved in a violent attack in downtown Portland on Nov. 26 2020 during a Rose City Antia-backed anti-Thanksgiving demonstration.

Police documents state that officers responded to reports of people breaking windows and committing other acts of vandalism toward businesses and private property along Southeast Hawthorne Boulevard around 1:22 am.
Multiple callers reported seeing people dressed in black clothing, Antifa's militant black bloc uniform, moving west along Southeast Hawthorne Boulevard breaking out windows as they went, police said.
Authorities arrested Noreiga and Hester, along with a third suspect Bailey Willack, during the violent demonstration, and all three individuals were booked into the Multnomah County Jail on felony charges. Officers also found one adult in possession of a semi-automatic pistol.
However, controversial progressive Multnomah County DA Mike Schmidt, who is known for his lack of prosecution, quickly dropped all charges against Noreiga and Hester and they were released without bail.
Photos taken of the property destruction that night show smashed windows and far-left slogans graffitied on businesses.
Some of the phrases included "Land back" and "You don't give AF about black ppl."
District Attorney Mike Schmidt, who is seeking reelection, rejected more than 540 riot-related cases that year as Antifa militants and Black Lives Matter protesters descended upon Portland and carried out extreme acts of violence that lasted for more than 100 consecutive days.
The Post Millennial reached out to Schmidt's office for comment on the recent arrests of Noreiga and Hester.
