Despite much speculation on the health of President Donald Trump, who tested positive earlier this week for the coronavirus, the President has posted an update on Saturday to state that he is in good health.

“Doctors, Nurses and ALL at the GREAT Walter Reed Medical Center, and others from likewise incredible institutions who have joined them, are AMAZING!!!” The President tweeted.

“Tremendous progress has been made over the last 6 months in fighting this PLAGUE. With their help, I am feeling well!”

Concerns were raised about the President’s condition following a confusing press conference by the White House physician, Sean Conley, who stated that the president’s mild cough and fatigue were improving, and that he has not had any trouble breathing, and that he hasn’t had a fever for 24 hours.

Conley’s reference to “72 hours into the diagnosis” raised questions about the timeline, as it would place the President’s diagnosis to around midday Wednesday, before Trump traveled to Minnesota for a fundraiser at an outdoor rally.

Trump revealed the results of his coronavirus test in a tweet on Friday at 1a.m.

Another physician, Brian Garibaldi, said that the president was being administered an antibody treatment “about 48 hours ago,” which would place it around midday Thursday, at the time Trump flew to New Jersey for a fundraising event.

A source familiar to the White House, believed to be Mark Meadows, provided conflicting information to the press when he stated that “The president’s vitals over the last 24 hours were very concerning and the next 48 hours will be critical in terms of his care. We’re still not on a clear path to full recovery.”

With the President’s own tweet, it would seem that the President is in good health.
