Three-time Grammy-winning rapper Nelly will be performing at President-elect Donald Trump’s inaugural Liberty Ball on Monday, following Trump’s swearing-in as the 47th President of the United States. The announcement was made Saturday by the inaugural committee, which includes former Senator Kelly Loeffler and Steve Witkoff.

“This marks a pivotal moment in our country where people from all backgrounds are joining together to commemorate President Trump’s victory and the start of a new golden era for America,” the committee said in a statement, per The Hill.

The 50-year-old rapper has nine Billboard music awards and will be performing at one of three official inaugural balls scheduled for inauguration day.

Due to frigid temperatures expected in Washington, DC, Trump’s inauguration ceremony will be moved indoors to the US Capitol Rotunda.

"There is an Arctic blast sweeping the Country," Trump said in a post on Truth Social. "I don't want to see people hurt, or injured, in any way. ... Therefore, I have ordered the Inauguration Address, in addition to prayers and other speeches, to be delivered in the United States Capitol Rotunda, as was used by Ronald Reagan in 1985, also because of very cold weather."

Nelly will join a lineup of high-profile performers celebrating the occasion this week. Country music superstar Carrie Underwood is set to sing “America the Beautiful,” while Lee Greenwood will perform his iconic song, “God Bless the USA.”

Additional performers include The Village People, Rascal Flatts, Parker McCollum, and Christopher Macchio. Rappers Snoop Dogg, Rick Ross, and Soulja Boy also performed at Trump’s “Crypto Ball” that was held in DC prior to the inauguration on Friday.
