Comedian Druski went political this year as his career entered the mainstream

Rolling Stone has named comedian Druski the most influential creator of 2026, after the comedian receive widespread attention earlier this year for parodying Turning Point USA CEO Erika Kirk.
The magazine ranked Druski No. 1 on its list of the 25 Most Influential Creators of 2026, placing him ahead of IShowSpeed, far-left political streamer Hasan Piker, Twitch streamer Kai Cenat, and children's content creator Ms. Rachel.
Druski, whose real name is Drew Desbordes, has built a massive following through sketch comedy and his fictional record label, Coulda Been Records. Although his content became political this year as his career entered the mainstream: "His sketches — which satirize everything from TSA agents and greedy megachurch pastors to a conservative pundit who just so happens to look a lot like Erika Kirk — dominate the news cycle for weeks after they drop. In 2026, he became the youngest-ever host of the BET Awards, and is already working on turning his classic franchises into full Hollywood productions," the outlet wrote.
The video where Druski parodied Kirk generated widespread attention and backlash from some online and became one of the comedian’s most popular skits. Rolling Stone described Druski’s rise as part of a wave of online creators into mainstream entertainment.
Hasan Piker was ranked No. 3, putting the prominent radical left-wing streamer ahead of Kai Cenat and Ms. Rachel. Rolling Stone wrote on Piker: "The self-declared Marxist, 35, has found himself at the center of endless controversies, thanks to his inflammatory criticism of Israel on his daily streams — eagerly clipped by both Fox News and MS NOW — but also, he says, because he has become the chiseled face of a movement to push the Democratic Party to the left.”
Piker has moved beyond online commentary and into electoral politics. Rolling Stone noted that he has backed candidates including Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Sen. Bernie Sanders, and far-left Michigan Democratic gubernatorial candidate Abdul El-Sayed. The magazine also went over his involvement in campaigning for lesser-known candidates. Piker also recently made headlines after he mocked Charlie Kirk while singing the likely-AI generated song "We are Charlie Kirk."
Ms. Rachel, whose real name is Rachel Accurso, came in at No. 5. Rolling Stone credited the children’s entertainer’s Songs for Littles series with becoming a major force in children’s media while also discussing her political activism, especially on the issue of Palestine.
"Her YouTube series, Songs for Littles, uses her early-childhood-education degree and husband’s musical-theater background to soundtrack a generation’s biggest milestones, using earworm songs to teach kids everything from first words to the power of friendship," Rolling Stone writes. "While the show took off as a mainstay for desperate parents during the pandemic, Accurso is now known as an advocate for childhood human rights, often taking loud and public stances against disenfranchised children from Gaza and Sudan to U.S. immigration detention centers.
"Because of this, Accurso remains a constant target for political criticism, harassment, and death threats, even as Songs for Littles has grown into one of the biggest titles on Netflix and gained her more than 21 million subscribers on YouTube."
