“Then Bobby Kennedy calls me, like, ‘What can I do?’ Dr. Oz calls me: ‘What's the situation? How can I help?’”
“I was contacted by Don Jr., who was literally in Africa,” Adams said. “Then Bobby Kennedy calls me, like, ‘What can I do?’ Dr. Oz calls me: ‘What's the situation? How can I help?’”
The outreach came after Adams made a public plea on X over the weekend, explaining that delays at his healthcare provider had jeopardized his access to a newly approved drug called Pluvicto, used to treat advanced prostate cancer.
“On Monday, I will ask President Trump, via X, to help save my life,” Adams wrote. “He offered to help me if I needed it. I need it.”
Adams, who is battling metastasized prostate cancer, said his provider had approved the treatment but failed to schedule it, prompting him to turn directly to Trump for assistance. The former president swiftly responded by sharing Adams’ post on Truth Social with the message, “On it!”
Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. also responded on X, writing, “Scott. How do I reach you? The President wants to help.”
Adams confirmed that the collective effort paid off—he now has an appointment scheduled for his treatment on Tuesday. “Then, you may have seen, President Trump, best president ever,” Adams said. “He posted my message to him and said, ‘On it, on it.’ He was so on it.”
