After months of debate over whether anti-Israel activists are “pro-Palestine” or terrorist supporters, student groups in Seattle have settled the argument by boasting about bringing the flags of terrorist groups to a recent protests claiming that “Supporting the resistance is an integral and inseparable part of supporting the cause of Palestinian liberation,” while speakers praised the Oct 7 atrocities.

Flags of Hezbollah and Hamas, as well as t-shirts and bandanas supporting terror, were spotted being carried by the pro-terror activists at a protest in downtown Seattle on Saturday, where speakers praised the October 7, 2023, massacre of over 1,200 Israelis and the kidnapping of over 250 more. Participants were also spotted wearing the headbands of the terrorist organization People For the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) and children were seen wearing Hamas t-shirts.

The Puget Sound Revolutionary Student Union posted on Instagram as part of a long manifesto justifying their actions after independent journalists noticed the support of terror, “On October 5th we attended the “All Out For Our Martyrs March” hosted by Palestinian Youth Movement and other organizations.” Martyrs is a term terrorists used to describe those in their ranks who fell while committing violent acts.

“We informed students and non-student supporters about our walkout on October 7. We also showed up with the flags of resistance organizations from Palestine and Lebanon,” namely the flags of Hamas and Hezbollah.

The statement continued, “We brought these flags to answer the call of organizers around the country, that 365 days of Genocide also means 365 Days of Resistance. We recognize that it will be the resistance that frees Palestine and Lebanon from the brutal Zionist occupation and we recognize the right of oppressed people to resist oppressors by any means necessary we as those living in the US must support the resistance against Zionism and US imperialism.”

The group claimed, “We received overwhelmingly positive support from members of the Arab community who attended the March along with other pro-resistance activists.”

The manifesto continued, “Supporting the resistance is an integral and inseparable part of supporting the cause of Palestinian liberation. Resistance is the only way oppressed and exploited peoples have gained their freedom,” lamenting that “people are still condemning the only resistance fighters Palestine has.”

The group then noted, “Our organization understands that the best thing we can do for Palestine from the belly of the beast is to resist US imperialism at home.”

The Instagram post included pictures of the Hamas and Hezbollah flags as well as an image from the October 7 massacre of Hamas terrorists standing atop a destroyed Israeli tank next to the breached wall separating Israel and Gaza and called for activists to “Escalate for Gaza” with the tagline “Resistance is glorious we will be victorious,” adding a phrase commonly heard at pro-terror rallies, “When people are occupied, resistance is justified.”

One of the featured speakers at the event was Ramzy Baroud, editor of the embattled Palestine Chronicle, a Washington-based 501(c)3 whose journalist Abdullah al-Jamal was revealed to be a Hamas terrorist holding Israelis hostages in his family home in Gaza for 8 months. He was killed in a daring hostage rescue operation by the Israel Defense Forces.

Hostage families have sued the outlet and members of Congress and the Israeli consulate have called for an investigation into the organization. Baroud praised the Oct. 7 atrocities and described the Hamas-led massacre as the "birth of a miracle" and "courage like no other," which he said has "led us in a march for freedom."

The pro-terrorist rally that disrupted the grand opening of the new Seattle Waterfront was part of the "Al-Aqsa Flood Month of Action," named after the Palestinian terrorist operation that murdered, raped & tortured over 1,200 civilians on Oct 7, 2023, and kidnapped over 250 more. Close to 100 hostages remain in captivity, including Americans.

Materials to advertise the events were provided by the Hamas media office as well as a narrative justifying the atrocities using the same verbiage the activists are using during their rallies, protests, and riots on college campuses and on the streets of America.

The material was posted online by The Palestine Chronicle.
