"I have a proposition for the communists," said Grimes. Her remarks were poorly received by communists.

In a video released to the singer’s TikTok Wednesday night, Claire "Grimes" Boucher said that Artificial Intelligence would be the "fastest path to communism."

"I have a proposition for the communists," said Grimes. "Typically, most of the communists I know are not big fans of AI. But, if you think about it, AI is actually the fastest path to communism."

Grimes goes on to say that if implemented correctly, AI could "solve for abundance."

"Like, we could totally get to a situation where nobody has to work, everybody is provided for with a comfortable state of being, comfortable living," she said.

Grimes continues by saying that AI would be able to automate farming, thereby eliminating the need for forced labor, and brining about equality.

"AI could automate all the farming, weed out systematic corruption. Thereby bringing us to as close as possible to genuine equality," she said. "So basically, everything everyone loves about Communism, but without the collective farm."

"Cause let’s be real," she added, "enforced farming is really not a vibe."

Grimes, it’s worth noting, is in a relationship with Elon Musk, the CEO of tech industry giants SpaceX and Tesla, who has been very vocal about AI and is one of the co-founders of the AI company OpenAI.
