Suspect arrested following Hamilton homicide

A man has been arrested following a homicide in the east end of Hamilton, Ontario.

A man has been arrested following a homicide in the east end of Hamilton, Ontario.

On Sunday, July 18, 2021, Christopher La Rose was stabbed during an altercation at a motel on Queenston Road in the City of Hamilton.

La Rose was found nearby and later died from his injuries.

On Tuesday July 20, 2021 police announced that an arrest warrant had been issued for Myles Blackburn for First Degree Murder, who is accused of the homicide.

Hamilton Police say they arrested Myles Blackburn in the Ferguson Avenue South and Young Street area of the city.

Blackburn is set to appear in court today, as police continue to investigate the circumstances that led to the murder.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
