President Joe Biden is set to visit Israel tomorrow while the nation is at war with Palestinian terror group Hamas. Lebanese terror group Hezbollah has called for an "unprecedented day of rage" in response.
Hezbollah, which seeks the destruction of Israel, demanded that devotees of their extremist, jihadi Islamist ideology stage a "day of anger." The group called for violence by Arab and Islamic nations, as well as for international groups to support their cause.
Hezbollah was founded by Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps in the 1980s. Hezbollah and the IRGC later trained Hamas. While Hamas is Sunni and Hezbollah is Shia, the terror groups have found a common goal in the seeking the destruction of Israel. Hezbollah's leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah has said that he controls 100,000 fighters. The group is funded by Iran.
"Let tomorrow, Wednesday, be an unprecedented day of anger against the enemy and its crimes," Lebanese terror group Hezbollah said, "against Biden's visit to the Zionist entity to cover and protect this criminal entity. The message should be clear that this is a day without turning back on the path of resistance, victory, and retribution for the oppressed against the oppressor."
Hezbollah's comments come after an explosion at a hospital in Gaza. Hamas blames Israel, while Israel said that the hospital's destruction was due a misfired missile from Hamas. More than 500 were killed in the explosion.
“Intelligence from multiple sources we have indicates that the PIJ organization is responsible for the failed launch that hit the hospital,” stated IDF Spokesman Rear Adm. Daniel Hagari.
Hezbollah claims that the devastation was a massacre, and that it comes as part of a continuation of massacres committed by Israel. Israel suffered a brutal attack at the hands of Hamas on October 7, when the terror group enacted plans two years in the making to murder Israeli civilians. Hamas forces came across the border by land, air and sea and slaughtered more than 1,400 people, many of them women, children, and elderly civilians.
"Continuing through the Qana massacres and others over the years of the odious occupation," Hezbollah said, "which reveal the true criminal nature of this entity and its patron, the great Satan, and the United States, which bears direct and full responsibility for this massacre and all the crimes committed by the Zionist enemy."
Biden's visit to Israel was announced on Monday night by Secretary of State Antony Blinken, who was in Tel Aviv after a nearly 8 hour meeting with Israeli officials. He had also planned to attend a regional summit in Amman, but that has now been cancelled.
"He's coming here at a critical moment for Israel, for the region and for the world," Blinken said. Biden is expected to discuss facilitating humanitarian aid to Gaza. Israeli officials are wary of aid of this kind, as Hamas has often used the distribution of humanitarian aid to continue their terror activities and not to actually help people.
"On Wednesday, I'll travel to Israel to stand in solidarity in the face of Hamas's brutal terrorist attack. I'll then travel to Jordan to address dire humanitarian needs, meet with leaders, and make clear that Hamas does not stand for Palestinians' right to self-determination," Biden's POTUS X posted

Jordan's foreign minister stated that the summit that had been planned with Biden in Amman for Wednesday had been cancelled. Biden had been intended to discuss the conflict with regional Arab leaders.
