Antifa took to the Seattle streets on Saturday night. In contrast to other peaceful demonstrations in the east, these protests quickly turned into a violent riot.

Footage being released every minute depicts rioters looting an Amazon Store, and putting up fiery barricades on Capital Hill, possibly suggesting the return of the short lived Capital Hill Autonomous Zone, or CHAZ.

Footage shows what appear to be literal dumpster fires, setup as barricades against police. This reemergence comes nearly three months after Seattle dismantled the CHAZ, sometimes referred to as CHOP.

When Antifa occupied Capital Hill in the summer, Seattle became the spotlight for anarchy, and perceived compliance by the authorities. Things heated up when a 16-year old boy was brutally murdered in the CHAZ, forcing the city to finally take action and dismantle the anarchist micro-nation.

A number of civilians in Seattle have spoken out against the Mayor and the inaction in dealing with violent criminals. "I don't want to get killed by these Antifa people", one resident said.

Things now appear to have gotten worse, following the resignation of Seattle's Police Chief due to the city defunding the force.

It is also important to note that the National Guard was planning on coming into the state and dismantling the CHAZ, but eventually did not need to do so. It remains to be seen whether they will be activate once again in this case.

We will continue following this story as events unfold.
