Among the convicted criminal migrants in the US are over 13,000 convicted of homicide.
Elon Musk has weighed in on the mainstream media’s silence regarding a recent ICE report revealing that more than 420,000 illegal immigrants convicted of crimes are currently residing freely in the United States.
The report, released last week, detailed that among the convicted criminal illegal immigrants are over 62,000 individuals convicted of assault, more than 13,000 convicted of homicide, and over 15,000 convicted of sexual assault. None of these individuals are being held in detention.
Despite the gravity of these revelations, the report has been largely ignored by mainstream media outlets. Fox News’ Greg Gutfeld, during The Five, expressed his disbelief, stating, “This story is so unbelievable I wanted to see if it was reported elsewhere. Couldn’t find it on MSNBC, CNN, Drudge. You have the release of hundreds of thousands of foreign criminals like they emptied the jails… thousands of rapists, thousands of murderers, and on the pages of all of these networks… nothing about what is probably the biggest crime story I’ve ever seen.”
Gutfeld went on to criticize the media's lack of coverage, declaring, “The media doesn’t want you to know this information, they don’t want it to reach you. They’d rather you die or be raped than Trump be right or find out the truth.” In response to Gutfeld’s comments, Musk posted a clip on X of his comments, adding the caption, “The scale of the deception is jawdropping.”
A report by Fox News found that NBC Nightly News was the only major network to mention ICE’s findings, while ABC’s World News Tonight and CBS Evening News did not cover the report during primetime.
Instead, much of the media's focus has been on Vice President Kamala Harris' recent trip to the border, where she spoke with Border Patrol agents. The trip has been widely criticized, with the Border Patrol Union calling it a “photo op” in the midst of the ongoing immigration crisis that has been exacerbated under the Biden-Harris administration.
