Toronto man arrested, charged with fentanyl trafficking, possessing illegal handgun

Police say they conducted an investigation in the Victoria Park Avenue and Finch Avenue East area of Scarborough.

A 21-year-old Toronto man was charged after police allegedly found a loaded pistol drugs on him, including fentanyl.

Police say they conducted an investigation in the Victoria Park Avenue and Finch Avenue East area of Scarborough.

Police say that the man, identified as 21-year-pld Logan Lee Wyszynski-Brahan, along with two unidentified women, were believed to be possessing an illegal firearm.

The property recovered includes:
- a loaded Taurus 740 slim .40 cal firearm
- 6 rounds of ammunition
- Fentanyl 28.085 grams
- Cocaine 34.95 grams
- MDMA 27.275 grams

Wyszynski-Brahan is facing 12 charges,  including possession of fentanyl for the purpose of trafficking, possess a weapon dangerous to the public, and possess proceeds of crime under $5000, according to a TPS media release.

The two women were released unconditionally.
