A Toronto man was charged after he was caught trying to have sex with a female he believed to be under the age of 16, CP24 reports.
The Child Exploitation Unit of Peel Regional Police began investigating Mikail Moolla, 35, after he posted an advertisement for sex with an underaged girl on a classifieds website.
During the second half of November, Moolla repeatedly communicated with a person he believed to be a girl under the age of 16, and that he eventually arranged for sex between the two.
The man went by a variety of screen names including "Mik Maximus," "Kinky Mik," and "Mik Max."
Moolla was arrested in 2017 on similar charges of seeking sex with minors. He was released then, but with several legal restrictions imposed by the courts.
Moolla appeared in a court in Brampton, Ontario, on Nov 28 for a bail hearing, and police are asking anyone with information on Moolla to come forward to police.
