The Trump campaign is renewing its efforts to block the certification of election ballots in Pennsylvania. Unhappy with the lower courts, the Trump legal team is filing an amendment with the Middle District court with the hope to prevent Commonwealth Secretary Kathy Boockvar from certifying the final result.

According to PennLive, the Trump team alleges disparate treatment of absentee and mail-in ballots across the state in violation of the Equal Protection Clause. They also claim a violation of the Electors and Elections clauses in that the state election boards had no authority to provide an opportunity to cure deficient mail-in ballots. This allegedly hurt Republican voters.

The Trump campaign says it has hundreds of sworn affidavits, alleging misconduct related to mail-in ballots that accounted for more than 2.6 million of the approximately 6.75 million votes cast in Pennsylvania.

The ammendment complaint remains unchanged. The Trump team wants to stop certification of ballots in Allegheny, Centre, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, Northampton and Philadelphia.

Should their efforts fail, they have no ruled out going to the Supreme Court.
