Donald Trump has challenged Joe Biden to another debate, but this time with no moderators, in order for the incumbent president to "prove his 'competence,' or lack thereof" for the American people. This comes just ahead of Biden's planned interview with ABC's George Stephanopoulos on Friday, which Biden allies are hoping will reverse the trend for their party's leader after he botched the debate so badly.

Trump posted the challenge to Truth Social as the prospect of Biden as the Democratic nominee has come under great scrutiny from many Americans after his terrible debate performance against Trump last week. "I have the answer to the Crooked Joe Biden Incompetence Puzzle—Let's do another Debate, but this time, no holds barred," Trump said on Truth Social.

"An all on discussion, with just the two of us on stage, talking about the future of our Country. The ratings were massive for the First Debate, record setting, in fact, but this one, because of the format, would blow everything away!" Trump added in the post. "Let Joe explain why he wants Open Borders, with millions of people, and many violent criminals from parts unknown, pouring into our once great Nation, or why he wants Men Playing in Women's Sports, or demand ALL ELECTRIC VEHICLES within five years, or why he allowed INFLATION TO RUN RAMPANT, destroying the people of our Country, and so much more."

The 45th president stumped for Biden and himself to have a "good, old fashioned Debate, the way they used to be" to allow Biden to prove he is up to the job of the presidency. Biden has vowed to do another debate with Trump on September 10 with ABC News, however, the rules may be very similar to the debate that the two had on CNN.

With just the two of them in the debate on stage without moderators, Biden and Trump would be left on their own to pitch their vision of the country to the American people. However, it would likely spell disaster for the Biden camp if he were to perform similarly to how he did on June 27. Biden appeared confused and was incoherent at times and was not able to portray his message effectively during the face-off. Biden also falsely claimed that he had gotten an endorsement from the Border Patrol Union.

Trump said the debate he proposed against Biden could take "anytime, anywhere, [and] anyplace."
