Pennsylvania Gen X voters are overwhelmingly leaning in favor of former Republican President Donald J. Trump in the 2024 re-match against Democrat President Joe Biden, according to a new Fox News poll.

The poll shows Trump leading Biden by 12 percentage points among Gen X voters in the key battleground state of Pennsylvania.

These Gen X voters in Pennsylvania have been predicted to decide elections for the next three decades, according to a report conducted by RealClearPennsylvania.

Additionally, Trump leads Biden 49 percent to 47 percent among all state voters, data shows.

Donald Trump, who became the presumptive GOP nominee on Tuesday evening, saw the strongest support from white evangelical Christians (73 percent), white men without a college degree (63 percent), rural voters (59 percent), and Gen Xers (54 percent).

This compared to Biden, who received the strongest support from nonwhite voters (64 percent), white voters with a college degree (57 percent), suburban women (57 percent), and those ages 65 and over (50 percent).

In a hypothetical two-way race between Trump and Biden, leaving out Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Republican voters who do not identify as "MAGA" are still solidly behind Trump, with 70 percent of non-MAGA respondents supporting Trump over 22 percent who said they would support Biden.

Trump also has a 7-point lead over Biden among Independent voters. 44 percent of respondents said they would support Trump, compared to 37 percent who would support Biden.

When choosing who to vote for in November, people cite the economy as their top concern, and the majority of Pennsylvanians are either optimistic or neutral regarding their financial status.

Six out of ten Pennsylvanians (61 percent) say the economy will be very important to them come November. After that, more than half of the respondents cited election integrity as being highly important (55 percent), followed by immigration and border security (52 percent). The percentages for the remaining problems are as follows: foreign policy (40 percent), abortion (39 percent), health care (47 percent), and climate change (27 percent).

Following multiple state primary elections on Tuesday night, both Donald Trump and Joe Biden emerged as their party's presidential nominees, easily crossing the finish line to earn enough delegates for a much-anticipated presidential rematch in November.
