Two men have been arrested following a daylight shooting where four people, including a 12-year-old boy who was walking with his mother, were shot on Nov. 7.
The two men were arrested Monday outside a downtown Toronto Canadian Tire, police told media.
The gun and gang unit officers confronted the men on Monday at around 5 p.m., after what police call a "painstaking, labour intensive investigation."
Police obtained three loaded guns from the suspects, who surrendered to police on sight, according to CP24.
The arrests came after a Nov. 7 shooting that saw four people hospitalized.
The shooting, which took place in Toronto's Jane and Finch area at about 2:20 p.m., happened in a parking lot of an apartment building. Police say one of the men exited their vehicle, and began firing into another vehicle.
One 12-year-old, who was walking with his mother, was struck. He remains in critical condition.
Three teenagers, all inside the vehicle, were shot and hospitalized, one with life-threatening injuries. All three victims have been discharged from hospital.
