Draped in the Stars and Stripes, American Olympian Tamyra Mensah-Stock could not hold back her enthusiasm during an interview following her gold medal win.

"Of course I surprise myself," she began. "It's by the grace of god I'm able to even move my feet! I just leave it in his hands, and I pray that all the practice, the hell that my freaking coaches put me through pays off, and ever single time it does, and I get better and better."

The reporter then asked Mensah-Stock about her flag.

"That American flag around your shoulders looks pretty good," he said. "How does that feel to represent your country like this?"

Mensah-Stock became elated. "It feels amazing! I love representing the US, I freaking love living there. I love it, and I'm so happy I get to represent USA!"

Jumping with joy, she pulled the flag close and hugged it.

Tamyra Mensah-Stock is currently the number one ranked wrestler in the world; a gold medal in Tokyo is just one more piece of hardware to add to her impressive trophy cabinet.

According to The Guardian, Mensah-Stock said that she is planning on giving the majority of her $37,500 in prize money to her mother. "I wanted to give my mom $30,000 so she can get a food truck," she said. "It’s her dream. My mom’s getting her food truck!"
