Kim Klacik, a female black conservative commentator and Congressional hopeful, fought back against a racist attack by a self-styled "libertarian socialist" YouTuber yesterday.

The person behind the original tweet attacked Klacik, calling her a clone of another famous black female conservative, Candace Owens.  He also complained about her hair, stating that she "never has kinky hair."

Perhaps the part that sparked the biggest controversy is when the tweeter in question said:  "Every single mother**king black woman in America talks the exact same way. The exact same f**king way"

Klacik indicated in her measured but pointed response that she was a Democrat until the year 2009, and has always had straight hair. In fact, she has been suffering from alopecia since she was 15 years old, and has worn a weave since then for that reason.

The “libertarian socialist” later offered some sort of an apology, saying the following:

"This was followed by about five minutes of confusion as chat Weirdchamped (sic) me, before realizing I hadn’t said “black *conservative* women” and apologizing for my speaking error.

"The language I’m using pretty clearly indicates I’m referring to conservatives - unless you think I think the 87% of black women who are Democrats repeat Candace Owens talking points."

The community on Twitter, including several of his fellow left-leaning netizens, was quick to reprimand him, many of them not accepting the apology.

"Vaush going mask-off racism: "Every single motherfucking black woman in America talks the exact same way. The exact same fucking way" Disgusting racist."

"Appreciate the correction. Still not cool to be racist or sexist against conservatives tho. Try harder.”

"This s**t [ain’t] ‘woke,’ you can make your points by not referring to Black women of any political party in the manner in which you did. If you use racist language & connotations, what does that make you? If you defend someone using racist language & connotations...."
