The skit is a perfect parody of the horrifying scenarios that have been playing out in gender clinics all over the western world since the modern trans rights movement created the concept of the transgender child.
A brilliant illustration of the absurdity of child sex changes, featuring a man taking his dog to the vet for “gender transition,” has gone viral on social media.
In the video, the man is at a veterinary clinic holding a what looks to be a French bulldog wearing a pink tutu. He explains to staff that while his dog is male, every time he puts a tutu in front of it, the dog puts it on right away. “We want to do a gender transition to make him female,” the owner explains.
Staff respond that the clinic is a general clinic, not behavioural, to which the outraged owner responds, “I wouldn’t call that behavioural. You’re saying gender identity is behavioural?”
At this point, the man and the ballerina bulldog are then asked to leave.
“I’m reporting this to the LGBTQ+ minus 2 Association of America,” says the offended owner.
The skit is a perfect parody of the horrifying scenarios that have been playing out in gender clinics all over the western world since the modern trans rights movement created the concept of the transgender child.
In what is surely one of humanity’s darkest moments, small, innocent, gender-nonconforming children everywhere are being told that their gender-nonconformity means they are members of the opposite sex.
These days, a boy who likes to wear tutus and dresses will very often be told that this makes him a girl. He’ll be given a girl name and female pronouns, and all the adults in his life will reinforce this lie out of a horribly misguided sense of compassion. When the reality of puberty hits, a medical sex change is the only option, because a child raised as a girl cannot possibly be expected to go through male puberty.
Proponents of so-called gender-affirming care will insist that there is a difference between a little boy who likes dresses and dolls and a “trans girl,” but no one is ever able to articulate how clinicians can tell. The child just knows, we are told. We must listen to the child and let them lead.
These mystical transgender children are wise all-knowing beings. While they may still believe that a man with flying reindeer comes down their chimney each December to put presents under a tree, or a giant bunny delivers chocolate eggs every spring, when it comes to their gender identity, they must never be doubted.
The stories of celebrity “trans kids” are laden with stereotypes. Jazz Jennings liked princess dresses and wearing a sparkly bathing suit, Kai Shappley’s mother tells of spanking Kai for “stealing girl toys,” and Susie Green, former CEO of disgraced trans charity Mermaids, revealed in a TED Talk how her homophobic husband wouldn’t tolerate her son’s liking for a tutu and a Snow White costume.
It has long been observed that extreme gender-nonconformity in childhood is strongly correlated with homosexuality in adulthood, meaning that many, if not most, of the children being funnelled through pediatric gender clinics are just future gay or lesbian adults. Many people have therefore reached the conclusion that transitioning children is the new conversion therapy, ironically supported by organisations that claim to be fighting for LGBT rights. There was even a dark joke at the soon-to-be-closed Tavistock gender clinic that soon there will be no gay people left.
When we clear away all the sparkles and rainbows, we find nothing but regressive stereotypes and good old-fashioned homophobia, being promoted by well-meaning liberals and gay rights organizations. The truth is there is no such thing as a transgender child. There are only children who deserve space to be themselves, and a childhood grounded in truth.
