The comments come after a report that border patrol agents have been instructed to release single adults from all but six countries.
Elon Musk accused the Biden administration of “voter importation” following the release of an internal memo instructing border patrol agents in San Diego to release single adults from all but six countries. The memo comes after Biden has released an executive order that claims to curb illegal immigration.
The memo, reported by Fox News correspondent Bill Melugin, categorized six countries as “mandatory referral” countries, which include Uzbekistan, Russia, Tajikistan, Georgia, Moldova, and Kyrgyzstan. The memo instructs border patrol agents to process single adults from all other countries as "Notice to Appear/Release on Own Recognizance."
Melugin further outlined the chaos ensuing on the southern border, highlighting that both Biden and the Department of Homeland Security had promised consequences and removal for illegal crossers between ports of entry. However, the majority of illegal crossers in the San Diego sector, including those from China, the Middle East, and Africa, are still being released into the US with future court dates. This practice has been frequently documented by Border Patrol’s mass releases at a San Diego trolley station.
During a background call with reporters, DHS officials acknowledged the challenges in removing illegal immigrants from the eastern hemisphere due to non-cooperation from their home governments regarding repatriation flights and travel documents.
“DHS officials said they are engaged with these countries and are trying to enhance cooperation,” Melugin reported.
“Bottom line in the short term: Mass catch & release continues for illegal immigrants in San Diego sector, who continue pouring in from all around the globe,” he concluded.
In response to this revelation, Musk labeled the actions taken by the Biden administration as “voter implementation,” implying that the president is permitting the entry of illegal immigrants so they can eventually vote in elections and vote for the Democratic party.
