On Sunday morning, black conservative Candace Owens was on Fox News answering questions about education, voting rights, and other pressing issues.
She was asked about critical race theory in public schools in America and responded point blank:
"I truly believe that it's time for us to pull our kids out of school. And I know people say 'not all of us can afford to that' [but] this country wasn't built on people having a lot of money when they were home-schooling."
"They're trying to teach this Marxist ideology. And the bad thing is .... they're replacing hard academics. These kids are not learning science; they're not learning mathematics. They're learning how to hate white people. They're learning how to hate their country."
"This is problematic for the future. What they're trying to do is guarantee that they have an ignorant group of people that vote based on emotion. This is a Democrat long-term strategy and it's finally coming to fruition."
The topic moved to the new HR1 bill, which has been terms a "voting rights" bill. Owens commented:
"I'm so tired of black Americans, Hispanic Americans being used to further Democrat power, and everything that the Democrats want to do."
"Votes are not being supressed. This is what the left always says. They make it sound good when in fact they are actually after the exact opposite."
"When I hear them say that they're trying to combat voter supression, I almost know, I always know that what they're actually after is supressing votes themselves and making sure that they stay in power."
"HR1 is extremely, extremely dangerous. And we need to make sure that we are trying to combat it and fight it in every way they can."
"How do we stop this, Candace?" Owens was asked, referring to the biased curricula in schools.
"I think parents need to start suing schools. They will win if they start suing schools for this stuff because it's blatant discrimination."
