Prime Minister Justin Trudeau addressed the nation yesterday to mark the occasion of Canada Day. Strangely, his remarks included an odd comment about our nation that has left Canadians scratching their heads.

In a video posted to Twitter, Trudeau said:... what makes Canada special is not that Canadians know that this is the best country in the world—it’s that we know it could be.”

The specific unpatriotic phrase indicating that Trudeau does not believe Canada is the best country in the world was even highlighted in the official tweet:

“What makes Canada special is not that Canadians know that this is the best country in the world—it’s that we know it could be. We know our work together is not yet done. Watch Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Mrs. Sophie Grégoire Trudeau’s #CanadaDay remarks”

The phrase in question occurs at the three-minute mark.

Given his recent and historic capitulation to the Chinese totalitarian communist regime, many have speculated that the number one spot in Trudeau's heart is occupied by China.
