A group of left-wing protestors on Friday were blocking a major road in Plano TX. When an angry citizen came up to demand they move, an officer took the side of the protestors.
The above video starts with the camera panning around and showing a group of protestors blocking a busy intersection of two wide roads. Traffic is backed up in all directions. The protestors are chanting slogans related to the BLM movement and banging on drums loudly.
Suddenly a man runs up to the protestors shouting "get the f**k out of my way." He gets in a verbal confrontation with those in front of him, at which point the officer steps up to try and calm him down, ignoring the protestors. Traffic is still blocked.
One lady, possibly one of the coordinators of the protest, in her truck gets out of the driver's seat, turns around and raises a middle finger at the man.
The citizen shouts at three people in front of him. "You're an a**hole, you're and a**hole and you're an a**hole." He then goes back to his vehicle and a few of the protestors follow him.
At this point the police officer is now calmly trying to talk to the protestors, who proceed to ignore him.
There exists some controversy on the internet as to whether the protest was legal or not, but it's clear in the state of TX that blocking traffic is not allowed as part of any legal protest.
