Video obtained exclusively by the The Dan O'Donnell Show on Friday reveals the harsh conditions for migrants who are detained at US-Mexico border. Many immigrants can be seen sleeping outside in deplorable conditions.
People can be seen sleeping in plastic sleeping bags, but they are otherwise completely out in the open. There is no shelter of any kind provided, according to The Dan O'Donnell Show.
The Biden administration continues to deny that there's a crisis at the border, and also denies that those who travel north are doing so in such numbers because they have hopes of being welcomed into the US under this new administration.
President Joe Biden, HHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, and Press Secretary Jen Psaki have all denied that there is a border crisis. Instead, they have continued to praise their "humanitarian" policies of allowing all unaccompanied minors into the US, as well as many asylum seekers, and families. They deny any culpability for the increased streams of people who are being drawn north as a result of these open door policies.
The administration has taken out huge ad buys in Central America to ask people not to come north, to wait until there are more resources and measures in place, but it has done little to nothing to stem the tide.
Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) was sent to the area as part of a team and found that "The Border Patrol says that last night alone there were 2,900 apprehensions in the 56 mile Rio Grande Valley border area. There were 300 known 'got-aways.' Because CBP is so overwhelmed dealing with the people who are in custody, it's not known how many people actually get away in a given night. There were 40,000 known 'got-aways' in the Tucson, Arizona sector over the past two months."
"It's the worst it's ever been, and the Biden Transition Team knew it," Senator Johnson added. "They asked Border Patrol how they could prevent a surge once Biden was inaugurated and they were told not to end the Migrant Protection Protocols. They did the exact opposite. This crisis was predictable and predicted."
One source, when asked if this crisis was inherited from the previous administration, replied: "That's just not true. This is entirely Biden's crisis."
The White House has continued to blame former President Trump for the crisis and has barely acknowledged the part that their new policies have played in what is becoming a humanitarian disaster.
