On Friday, White House spokesman Andrew Bates went after Elon Musk, accusing the X CEO of repeating a "hideous" antisemitic lie on the platform after Musk replied to a post suggesting Jewish organizations were facilitating anti-white resentment through their embracing of diversity initiatives and the embracing of the oppressor/victim world view. while at the same time asking people to stop directing hate their way.

Bates said it was "unacceptable" that Musk had engaged with the post, saying that he affirmed an anti-semitic sentiment. The original post contained an advertisement, a PSA encouraging parents to discourage their children from being racist against Jews. The ad showed a white man and his white son in a pickup truck and did not acknowledge that the primary source of anti-semitism currently is in the major cities among leftist progressives and Arabs.

"It is unacceptable to repeat the hideous lie behind the most fatal act of Antisemitism in American history at any time, let alone one month after the deadliest day for the Jewish people since the Holocaust," Bates said in a statement.

"Like President Biden said weeks ago memorializing the victims of the Pittsburgh Synagogue shooting, the October 7 'devastating atrocity has brought to the surface painful memories left by millennia of Antisemitism;' and under his presidency 'we will continue to condemn Antisemitism at every turn.' We condemn this abhorrent promotion of Antisemitic and racist hate in the strongest terms, which runs against our core values as Americans."

The incident took place on Wednesday, and began when Jewish conservative Charles Weber posted a video in which a father confronts his son for saying "Hitler was right" online.

"You got something you want to say? Why dont you say it to our faces," Weber added.

"Okay," another user replied. "Jewish communties have been pushing the exact kind of dialectical hatred against whites that they claim to want people to stop using against them. I'm deeply disinterested in giving the tiniest shit now about western Jewish populations coming to the disturbing realization that those hordes of minorities that support flooding their country don't exactly like them too much. You want truth said to your face, there it is."

"You have said the actual truth," Musk said in response to the reply. "The ADL unjustly attacks the majority of the West, despite the majority of the West supporting the Jewish people and Israel. This is because they cannot, by their own tenets, criticize the minority groups who are their primary threat."

The ADL was leading an ad boycott of Twitter over alleged antisemitism after Musk proclaimed the platform to be dedicated to free speech. The ADL, and others, wanted Twitter to be more vigilant in policing speech.
