Winnipeg Minister of Economic Development and Jobs Jon Reyes made the questionable decision of snapping a photo of his wife shoveling the snow after she had worked a 12-hour hospital shift.
"Even after a 12 hour night shift at the hospital last night, my wife still has the energy to shovel the driveway. God bless her and all our frontliners. Time to make her some breakfast," wrote Reyes, finishing the tweet with a "praying" emoji.

Reyes, who describes himself as a "family man" in his Twitter bio, received scores of tweets criticizing his decision not just to allow his wife to shovel after a long hospital night shift, but also to post a photo of her shoveling the snow on Twitter.
Some were also quick to point out that Reyes was up until at least 2:44 am watching tennis the night before while his wife was working.

Reyes's wife, Cynthia, would go on to make her own Twitter account in an attempt to stop the bleeding, responding: "All I wanted to do was shovel!"
