The women’s jersey for Kansas City Chiefs’ kicker Harrison Butker has sold out on in NFL’s shop, and the football player’s jersey for both genders has been ranked among the top-selling after the player spoke out against Biden over abortion.

The surge in popularity in Butker’s jersey comes after the pro football player delivered a commencement speech at Benedictine College, a Catholic liberal arts college in Kansas.

During his speech, he called out Biden for claiming to be a Catholic while supporting abortion.

"Our own nation is led by a man who publicly and proudly proclaims his Catholic faith, but at the same time is delusional enough to make the Sign of The Cross during a pro-abortion rally," he stated. "He has been so vocal in his support for the murder of innocent babies that I'm sure to many people it appears to many people you can be both Catholic and pro-choice."

Butker also spoke about how motherhood and careers are presented to women by modern society.

"I think it is you, the women, who have had the most diabolic lies told to you," Butker said. "Some of you may go on to lead successful careers in the world, but I would venture to guess that the majority of you are most excited about your marriage and the children you will bring into this world. I can tell you that my beautiful wife Isabelle would be the first to say her life truly started when she started living her vocation as a wife and as a mother."

Following his speech, a petition started by a left-wing activist began circulating calling for the Kansas City Chiefs to drop the kicker from its roster. The petition, which was launched on May 13, now has over 190,000 signatures.

The NFL condemned Butker’s speech, with a spokesperson saying in a statement, "Harrison Butker gave a speech in his personal capacity. His views are not those of the NFL as an organization. The NFL is steadfast in our commitment to inclusion, which only makes our league stronger."
