Moore used his walker to make his way towards the monarch. He was not required to knee before the Queen though he was knighted in a traditional fashion with a sword tap.
Thank you @RoyalFamily.

I have been overwhelmed by the many honours I have received over the past weeks, but there is simply nothing that can compare to this, I am overwhelmed with pride and joy. #WindsorCastle https://t.co/gf8IJ1kVkk
The ceremony took place outside of Windsor Castle where Queen Elizabeth has been staying with her husband amid the coronavirus pandemic.
“Thank you for all the well wishes, as ever, overwhelmed by your support. #todaywillbeagoodday” tweeted Moore before the ceremony.
