In an open letter released Wednesday, 126 retired US generals slammed the direction of the Biden Administration, saying "our Nation is in deep peril," under President Joe Biden's leadership.

"We are in a fight for our survival as a Constitutional Republic like no other time since our founding in 1776. The conflict is between supporters of Socialism and Marxism vs. supporters of Constitutional freedom and liberty," the letter reads.

The letter, released by the group Flag Officers 4 America, slammed bills HR 1 and S 1, both of which look to enact sweeping voter reform on the federal level.

"Election integrity demands insuring there is one legal vote cast and counted per citizen. Legal votes are identified by State Legislature’s approved controls using government IDs, verified signatures, etc," the letter states.

"Today, many are calling such commonsense controls 'racist' in an attempt to avoid having fair and honest elections. Additionally, the 'Rule of Law' must be enforced in our election processes to ensure integrity. The FBI and Supreme Court must act swiftly when election irregularities are surfaced and not ignore them as was done in 2020. Finally, H.R.1 & S.1, (if passed), would destroy election fairness and allow Democrats to forever remain in power violating our Constitution and ending our Representative Republic."

The group also called Biden's marathon signing of Executive Orders during his first week in office a "full blown assault on our Constitutional rights" as the president legislated by executive fiat, bypassing the legislature.

"Aside from the election, the Current Administration has launched a full-blown assault on our Constitutional rights in a dictatorial manner, bypassing the Congress, with more than 50 Executive Orders quickly signed, many reversing the previous Administration's effective policies and regulations," it reads.

The letter expressed concerns over "population control actions such as excessive lockdowns, school and business closures, and most alarming, censorship of written and verbal expression."

Concerns also expressed by the group were the administration's seeming open door policy at the border, which they say jeopardizes national security. China and the Chinese Communist Party, censorship of free speech protected under the First Amendment, the re-engagement in the Iran Nuclear Deal, Biden's decision to stop the Keystone Pipeline, the US military being used as "political pawns" and the teaching of critical race theory to said troops, and the degradation of "Rule of Law" across the country, were all on the list of problems the generals see with the direction of the current administration.

The group also called Biden's health into question, stating that "the mental and physical condition of the Commander in Chief cannot be ignored. He must be able to quickly make accurate national security decisions involving life and limb anywhere, day or night. Recent Democrat leadership's inquiries about nuclear code procedures sends a dangerous national security signal to nuclear armed adversaries, raising the question about who is in charge. We must always have an unquestionable chain of command."

As a response to their concerns, the letter urged citizens to get involved in politics at all levels to "save America."

"We urge all citizens to get involved now at the local, state and/or national level to elect political representatives who will act to Save America, our Constitutional Republic, and hold those currently in office accountable. The 'will of the people' must be heard and followed," the letter states.
