Four Trump supporters, who identified themselves to police as belonging to the Proud Boys, were stabbed early on Wednesday morning only blocks from the White House.
It was reported that the woman who was stabbed was Bevelyn Beatty, who is a Trump supporting activist that has been painting over BLM murals in New York, and attempted to do so in Washington, DC.
Enrique Tarrio, who leads the Proud Boys, said that he was among those who were "jumped by Black Lives Matter" and stabbed, according to the New York Post.
He said that "multiple other members" were injured. Tarrio said that he was stabbed in the stomach, another man was stabbed in the neck, and a woman, Beatty, was stabbed in the back. Jen Loh posted video to Storyful, describing what she saw, naming Beatty and BLM.
The woman and three men reported that those who stabbed them were affiliated with the BLM protests that was happening in Washington, DC on election night. They said that they were attacked by two men and one woman, according to local news.
DC saw a large demonstration on election night, and there was increased security in Washington on Tuesday night and into Wednesday morning.
There have been arrests, and no suspects as yet, regarding the 2:30 a.m. attack, which took place near 14th Street and New York Avenue NW. The injuries sustained are not life-threatening, but the stabbing victims were taken to an area hospital.
