Leftist agitators have set up an "autonomous zone" in Minneapolis following the shooting of Renee Good, a woman who drove her car into an ICE agent who then shot and killed her. The zone appeared to be similar to the infamous "CHAZ" autonomous zone in Seattle that was constructed in the wake of George Floyd's death.

The so-called "autonomous zone" had walls made from various materials as well as signs that said slogans such as "f*ck ICE" and similar messages. Others said, "Rest in peace Renee Good."

The zone spanned several blocks in Minneapolis, and residents of the city are barred from driving through the area. Radicals within the zone appointed "guards" at each entrance to the area. One of the main differences between the Seattle "CHAZ" autonomous zone and the one in Minnesota is that Seattle took place in the summertime. The agitators in the zone in Minnesota have decided to set up shop in the middle of the winter, where cold weather is a real danger to life in the elements.

The zone was set up in a suburban neighborhood, preventing residents from accessing their homes. Along with the barricades, signs were set up that stated, "Federal agents not permitted on premises. Federal agents (ICE, DEA, ATF, or other any other agent or agency) may not enter, park, or stage on this property. No trespassing. Violators will be towed."

The Post Millennial's editor at large Andy Ngo compared the scene to the 2020 autonomous zone in Seatle, saying that Minneapolis police "have ceded the streets to far-left extremists. The roads are illegally shut down and an autonomous zone has been set up where Renee Good died."

Good was shot and killed at the scene of an ICE operation in Minneapolis. She had been driving her car with an agent in front of her and accelerated forward, hitting the officer. The ICE agent then fired his weapon, killing Good. Democrats and some on the left have seized on the killing, accusing the ICE agent of murder.

The zone was set up in the area of 34th East and Portland Avenue in Minneapolis, just a few blocks away from the infamous "George Floyd Square," which also became an autonomous zone after the 2020 incident.
