Steven Tyler has been accused of sexual assault by a woman who was 16 years old when their alleged relationship began.

Julia Holcomb has filed a lawsuit against the Aerosmith frontman, accusing him of sexual assault, sexual battery, and intentional infliction of emotional distress, according to court documents obtained by Rolling Stone.

The pair met in 1973 at an Aerosmith concert in Portland, Oregon, when Tyler was 25 years old. The plaintiff, Holcomb, had just turned 16.

The Court documents state that after the show, Tyler took Holcomb to his hotel room, where they talked about the plaintiff's family life and her age. She then alleges that he "performed various acts of criminal sexual conduct upon" her, before sending her home in a taxi the next morning.

He then illegally flew her to the band's show in Seattle, where he performed more sexual acts on her, before flying her back to Portland.

The suit alleges that Tyler convinced Holcomb's mother to give him guardianship of the teen so that they could travel together on tour across state lines. Tyler at the time claimed that he would enroll her in school and give her the best medical care, however, Holcomb's lawsuit states that the singer "did not meaningfully follow through on these promises and instead continued to travel with, assault and provide alcohol and drugs to Plaintiff."

Two years later when Holcomb was 17, she got pregnant with Tyler's son. The singer demanded that she get an abortion, claiming that the baby had suffered from smoke inhalation and lack of oxygen due to an apartment fire. After Tyler told her he'd stop supporting her if she kept the baby, she got the abortion, but subsequently left him to return to Portland.

The lawsuit doesn't actually mention Tyler by name, referring to him as a John Doe, however, the details of the lawsuit match many of the stories told by Tyler in his 2011 memoir, in which he discusses a "romantic, loving relationship" with an underage girl.

Holcomb also told a lot of the same stories to conservative outlets, including Life Site News, and also on shows such as Tucker Carlson Tonight, where she has advocated for pro-life and pro-family causes.
