An Albertan mother has posted a online plea for her son who has apparently been taken away to a undisclosed isolation centre. Rebekah McDonald says her son, Ethan, was detained at the Calgary Airport after arriving on Saturday from Phoenix, Arizona. This is according to the Western Standard.

"They are saying it’s not accurate and they are wanting to take him to a quarantine facility. They won’t let me talk to him," said McDonald who had not seen her son for two years.

"They say he doesn’t have a choice, that it’s the law. They say I don’t have the right to talk to him. They are taking him against my will and his will and I’m not okay with it. I don’t know what to do about it and I don’t know where I’m supposed to find him," continued McDonald.

The son was allegedly taken away due to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's new COVID measures. These measure stipulate that upon arrival back to Canada, passengers would be taken to an isolation facility if they fail a COVID test. They would then be kept there for fourteen days.

"I just want people to ask themselves what kind of Canada they want to live in. People fight long and hard for freedom and this just feels really wrong. It is really wrong."

The Justice Centre for Constitution Freedoms (JCCF) say they will file immediate court challenges to Trudeau plan saying it’s unconstitutional.
