A video that apparently reveals Ontario Premier Doug Ford's intentions to open up the province was posted by Rebel News.

"We’re pulling these passports. We’re going to get back to normal. I can’t get you the exact date, but it’s going to be very soon. I’ll be speaking over the next few days. Friday I’m going to put out a statement. Monday I’ll be giving some dates. And we’re going to move forward," he said.

According to audio obtained by Rebel, the premier plans to announce on Friday that he will drop the vaccine passport system, and that on Monday, he will provide specific dates.

The audio is allegedly from a call that the premier gave to a supporter.

Yesterday, Ford called for an end to the "illegal occupation and blockade happening in Ontario," as the Ambassador Bridge remains blocked by protestors. Ending the passport system is a key demand of the protestors at the bridge.

"The ongoing illegal occupation and blockade happening in Ontario must stop. The Ambassador Bridge is one of the most vital trade corridors in our country. The damage this is causing to our economy, to people's jobs and their livelihoods is totally unacceptable. We cannot let this continue," he wrote.
