American TikToker posts recommended US/Israel targets for Iran to strike, shares coordinates

An American independent journalist is facing backlash after posting videos suggesting potential targets for Iran, including specific coordinates of US-made Patriot missile defense systems in Israel.

Ethan Levins, who has more than 76,000 followers on TikTok and uses the username @moscowethan, posted a video amid the ongoing strikes on Iran by the US and Israel. In one video, Levins said it was a “message to the Iranian government” and displayed exact coordinates on his screen, which he said was the location of the “new Patriot battery system.”

“It’s brand new by the way, Iran, so if you want to fire off a few missiles that way, there’s only six interceptors in this direction,” he explained in the video. Levins also suggested that Iran “fire at Tel Aviv” then divert south to trigger more interceptions.

“Make sure to like the video, report, or share with all your Iranian friends,” he told his followers. “Let’s see if we can possibly get this out to the Iranians.”

Other videos posted by Levins reportedly included additional locations for Iran to target, along with exact coordinates. While his videos about Israel remained on TikTok, his main account on X was suspended.

According to a recent report by Semafor, Israeli officials have informed the US that it is running critically low on ballistic missile interceptors as the conflict with Iran continues. Israel was reportedly already low following the conflict with Iran last summer, and its long-range defense systems have been under strain from Iranian strikes. A US official told the outlet, “It’s something we expected and anticipated.” The US, meanwhile, said it has every needed to protect its assets in the region.

“We have all that we need to protect our bases and our personnel in the region and our interests,” the official said, adding that Israel is “coming up with solutions to address” its shortage of interceptors.
