On Thursday, thousands of anti-Israel activists protested adjacent to the United Nations and in the streets of Manhattan against the visit of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Around a dozen people were arrested.

Activists waved Hamas flags and even had a fake blood soaked effigy of Netanyahu to protest Israel’s war against Palestinian terrorists and Netanyahu’s speech to the UN scheduled for Friday.

While the protests outside the UN in the morning remained peaceful, NYPD arrested around a dozen activists who grew violent on Thursday evening in the streets outside the Loews Regency Hotel where Netanyahu was staying, according to the New York Times. A separate protest Thursday morning near the United Nations headquarters saw 25 people arrested.

Nerdeen Kiswani, the leader of the violent pro-Hamas group Within Our Lifetime, led her followers in chants calling for the end of the Jewish state outside the hotel during the Flood Manhattan for Lebanon protest.

Activists waving Hamas flags and carrying signs that read “New York For Hezbollah” chanted for an “intifada” while marching at various New York City landmarks including Madison Square Park and Grand Central Station.

Radicals marched on the Metropolitan Museum of Art after Nerdeen told them that embattled New York City Mayor Eric Adams and other Democrats were gathered there for an event for the UN General Assembly.

Terrorist supporters were joined in the streets by anti-police and other left-wing radicals throughout the evening to support various causes.

As night fell, violent activists blocked streets, scuffled with police, and threw smoke bombs as police began making arrests.

Activists even threw trash into the streets to try and hinder bicycle police from pursuing them.
